As a vascular and endovascular surgeon, he performs both open vascular surgery and minimally invasive endovascular procedures, with every treatment plan tailored to each patient’s condition, symptoms and goals.
Patients are referred from across Sydney, regional New South Wales and interstate for both common vascular conditions and complex cases requiring specialist vascular surgical expertise. In addition to treating conditions such as aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, varicose veins and deep vein thrombosis (DVT), Dr Banzic has particular expertise in vascular compression syndromes, including Popliteal Artery Entrapment Syndrome (PAES), Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS), May-Thurner Syndrome and Nutcracker Syndrome.
